# :rocket: Release 1.5.0-beta1 (2023-03-27) ## :notepad_spiral: NOTES StackGres 1.5.0-beta1 open the door to horizontal scaling by leveraging [Citus support from Patroni](https://patroni.readthedocs.io/en/master/citus.html). A new CRD called SGShardedCluster will bring you the power of sharding by creating multiple SGCluster that will behave like a single one.
